Złota 44, Warsaw — interior photography, 50th floor, Daniel Libeskind

Złota 44 is the tallest residential building in the European Union. Designed by Daniel Libeskind, 192 metres, 52 floors. One of the most prestigious addresses in Warsaw.

The session took place on the 50th floor. At that height, Warsaw spreads out in every direction as far as the eye can reach. The interior designed to match the address works as a subject at any time of day. But the late afternoon light, when the sun drops to the level of the windows, changes everything.

Interior photography at 192 metres

At this height the standard rules of interior photography change. The view is part of every frame. The challenge is to balance the exposure between the bright window and the interior and to decide in each shot how much of the city to include.
