Warsaw Hub at the intersection of Sienna and Towarowa streets in Wola is one of the most recognisable office complexes in Poland. Designed by the Belgian developer Ghelamco, the complex consists of two towers 130 and 86 metres tall, connected by a shared podium.
The commission was to document the building for the portfolio of AMC Andrzej M. Chołdzyński, the architectural practice responsible for the interior design of the common areas. A complex with this scale and this level of detail requires planning: which shot at which time of day, which floor for the overview, where the lines of the facade align in the frame.
Architecture and detail
The building works in full daylight and after dark. The illuminated towers against a deep blue sky after sunset is one of those shots that simply has to be done. I arrived twice for the daytime exterior documentation and for the night session.
